The Tachi-Yokut Tribe (Tribe) proposes future expansions of the existing Tachi Palace Casino Resort complex on tribal trust land located in Kings County, approximately 2.75 miles southeast of the City of Lemoore, California. The Tachi Palace Casino Resort in Lemoore announced on Tuesday that it would be re-opening this week. According to a statement released by officials, the casino will begin a two-phase re-opening starting on Thursday at 9 a.m.
Among the safety measures put in place by the casino and entertainment center are infrared cameras that will be used to determine the body temperatures of employees and guests. Slot machines will be spaced six feet apart or will have plexiglass barriers between them.
In addition everyone will be required to wear masks.
“We have missed our patrons and are excited to welcome them back,” said Michael Olujic, General Manager of Tachi Palace Casino Resort. “Of course, the health and safety of our guests and team members remain our top priority and we have implemented numerous protective measures including reconfiguring the slot floor, adding separation shields, and additional sanitizing stations. We are opening the casino and property in two phases to keep with current safety guidelines.”

The two-phase re-opening will begin with slot machines, the hotel, and select restaurants. Gaming tables will open in two weeks and will be restricted to three players each separated by plexiglass.
